He was traded to the Lakers from the Orlando Magic in 1996 and quickly became one of the best players in the league.
In his time with the Lakers, O'Neal was a four-time NBA champion, three-time Finals MVP, and one-time NBA MVP.
He was also a 15-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA First Team eight times.
O'Neal is considered one of the greatest centers in NBA history and was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
